Attendance Matters - Every Student, Every Day!
Often, we think absences aren't a problem as long as they're excused or a child’s learning won't be affected unless he or she misses several days in a row. Research shows that missing 10% of the school year — which can be just two or three days every month — can add up to so much lost time in the classroom that children just can't keep up. Attendance is critical to the success of our students. We must have our students present and engaged in order to provide them with the opportunities they need to be successful in the future. This year promises to be filled with great learning experiences and fun for all students. We are excited about starting the year off with high expectations and exceeding the goals we set for ourselves. Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents with high expectations. - Bob Beauprez
