STUDENTS OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER, 2017

Teachers from each grade selected one student as "Student of the Month" for September.  These students were selected based on the SOAR theme:  Show Respect, Own My Own Behaivor, Attend School Faithfully, Reach My Goals.  Each student received a "Student of the Month" T-shirt and a certificate with a narrative from their teacher with details of why they were selected.

HERITAGE  DAY "CELEBRATING WEST VIRGINIA"

AND OUR APPALACHIAN CULTURE

Students at Leading Creek Elementary gathered on the field to view the eclipse today. Everyone agreed it was "pretty cool". Actually, the temperature did get noticeably cooler.  Thanks to Glenville State College for donating safety eclipse glasses for all our students.
